Providing Emergency Housing for Families in Need
WWW is pleased to have formed an alliance with the Red Cross to help families in need.
These are families and individuals that do not meet the crisis requirements of the Red Cross but now Women Working Wonders can help in these situations.
“Women Working Wonders has moved to the top of the list of partner agencies for the Riverside County Chapter of the American Red Cross. WWW is ready and able to step in quickly to help when needed. Some agencies have bureaucracies that take a week or more to process assistance requests. When the Red Cross has provided all the benefits it can and the client still needs help (e.g., for a hotel for another day or two until an apartment opens up, or for rental assistance) WWW can have a check ready in less than 24 hours. They are just terrific!”
