Helping the Homeless Help Themselves
Coachella Valley Rescue Mission works hard to get homeless men and women clean and sober so they can re-enter the job market.
In a joint effort, Women Working Wonders and the International School of Beauty provide vouchers for a professional grooming session of a free shampoo, style and make up application/lesson for homeless individuals ready to re-enter the job market.
“The women are loving it! (Professional grooming, etc.) They wrote thank you notes for you. Thank you so much for your caring and compassionate gift to the women of the CVRM,” wrote Kitty Killian, Coachella Valley Rescue Mission.
